An der Bahnhofstraße steht die partiell restaurierte Postmeilensäule aus dem Jahre 1724. Die Buchstaben A und R sowie die Wappen auf ihr verweisen auf Friedrich August, genannt der Starke, Kurfürst von Sachsen (1694–1733) und König von Polen (1697–1733). Teile der ursprünglichen Postmeilensäule sind im Rathaus ausgestellt.
